Travelers With Special Cases | - For minors under the age of 18: A travel consent letter from the parental authority or legal guardian is required if the minor is not traveling with both parents.

- For studies or training purposes: Submit a certificate of enrollment at an educational establishment and/or student cards or certificates for the courses to be attended.
- For political, scientific, cultural, sports, or religious events: Include invitations, entry tickets, enrollments, or programs stating the name of the host organization and the length of stay.
- For official visits: Provide a letter/note confirming the applicant is a member of an official delegation along with a copy of the official invitation.
- For travel to international organizations in Austria: It is advised to have the inviting institution contact the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry in Vienna regarding the participant.
- For medical travel: Submit an official document from the medical institution in Austria confirming the necessity for medical care and proof of cost coverage.
- For visiting family or friends: Provide an invitation letter and proof of ties with the host/inviting person.
